A real driving calendar
Monthly tours, regularity rallies, classic concours and casual coffee-meets across Cyprus — Paphos to Karpasia.
FIPA Cyprus is the island's home for oldtimer and youngtimer enthusiasts — regular rallies through coast and mountain villages, a tight-knit community of owners, and the official FIVA ID for your eligible classic.
FIPA Cyprus is a non-profit touring club dedicated to preserving and promoting classic and historic motoring on the island. We organise regularity rallies, concours, and easy weekend excursions — bringing together collectors, restorers, and weekend drivers around the same simple idea: cars worth keeping deserve to be driven.
Whatever you drive — a 1960s roadster, a youngtimer saloon, or a restored daily — there's a seat for you at our table.
The FIVA Identity Card — issued in Cyprus by FIPA — is the official document that certifies your vehicle's status as a classic or historic car. Inspected, photographed and registered to international FIVA standards, it unlocks real, everyday benefits across Cyprus and beyond.
FIVA-certified vehicles in Cyprus qualify for the historic-vehicle road tax category — a fraction of the standard annual rate.
Issued to official FIVA standards. Recognised at events, customs and inspections across Europe.
A FIVA ID is your entry pass to regularity rallies, concours and members-only tours in Cyprus.
A documented record of your car's specification, condition, and history — useful for insurance, sale and inheritance.
Beyond the paperwork: a year-round calendar of driving, a network of restorers and specialists who know their stuff, and a community that shows up.

One-time inspection & certification per vehicle
For enthusiasts without an eligible vehicle
Vehicles must generally be at least 30 years old and in original or correctly-restored condition. Youngtimers do not qualify for a FIVA ID — they are warmly welcome at the club and at our events, but the card is reserved for true historic vehicles. Our committee inspects each car individually and issues the card according to official FIVA standards.
Cyprus offers a substantially reduced annual road tax category for certified historic vehicles. The exact amount depends on engine size and year, but most members pay a fraction of the standard rate. We'll guide you through the application with the Department of Road Transport.
No. Our Supporter tier exists for friends of the club — enthusiasts who love the cars, attend events and contribute to the community, without (yet) owning an eligible vehicle.
From inspection to issued card, typically 4–6 weeks. We schedule inspections in Limassol, Nicosia and Paphos throughout the year.
Most of our members live on the island, but we welcome members from abroad who own a vehicle stored or registered in Cyprus.
Yes — charity is a core part of what we do. Through our rallies and members' events we have raised substantial sums for Cypriot causes, including organisations supporting children with cancer. Every drive can mean more than just kilometres on the clock.
